Senior Accountant
Salary - $70-80k
Position is in the Benefits Dept.
Responsibilities:
Individual will report directly to the Benefits Accounting Manager
Will be responsible for a monthly pension benefits reconciliation
Assist in financial statement preparation and audit support schedules of all plans
Assist with queries from auditors
Special projects
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience
Bachelors Degree in Accounting
Strong knowledge of Excel and Word
Knowledge of General Ledger systems and report writers (eBackoffice/FRx preferred)
Strong analytical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of benefit plans/5500's a plus
