Job Description:
The Senior Business Analyst’s duties include, but are not limited to:
· Working with the team to increase their knowledge of products and financial accounting
· Entering test cases into QA tools
· Execution of such test cases
· Effectively logging defects
· Communicating with colleagues, management
· Assisting with various projects as assigned
Requirements:
· BS or BA in Accounting/Finance/Economics
· 10 years experience in Financial Services with heavy exposure to financial accounting in either a Middle Office or Back Office capacity
· Broad and deep knowledge of Capital Markets financial instruments
· Excellent Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook skills
· Knowledge of hedge or mutual funds
· Ability to train/mentor others who do not come from strong financial services backgrounds
· Superior written and oral communication skills
· Ability to multi-task and take-on multiple projects
